VGX 2013: Grand Theft Auto V Takes Home ‘Game Of The Year’

Well…in a shift from the awards being in the forefront to game premieres being the forefront of this new format Grand Theft Auto V takes home the ‘Game of the Year’ award at this year’s VGX.

Not knowing what to expect,what surprised me was how insignificant the award was made to be  (based on presentation) — The fact that they announced it just about a 3rd of the way of the entire show instead of the end as it usually is presented. Even more Surprising was the fact that it’s not even the last category presented of the night.

In any case congratulations to Rockstar for taking home the award.
