EA’s COO Peter Moore is reporting that Battlefield 3 open Beta will be launching this September 29. It will be launching on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Many gamers all around the world can experience this first-person shooter for the first time with a game that’s catching a lot of steam and momentum and will most likely go head-to-head with the ‘juggernaut’ that is Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. Also gamers can get an up close and personal feel of the much herald Frostbite 2 engine that boasts amazing graphics and an animation system never seen before in gaming. Dead Space 2 DLC map pack, Onslaught is coming soon. The downloadable content will be released on Xbox Live on May 31st and on the PlayStation Network on June 3rd. Outbreak comes with two new multiplayer maps, The Academy and The Concourse. Both maps share a similar goal, help the humans escape. Go ahead and guess how much all this new content costs.
