Uncharted 3 goes Gold — to include Starhawk Beta code

Naughty Dog has announced that Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception  has gone Gold.

Side Fact: When a game goes “Gold” it just means it’s been approved and  their preparing the game in factory to get shipped out to consumers.

News of Uncharted 3 being in Development first was broke through Entertainment Weekly and is now finished, in what Naughty Dog describes as a “marathon of game development”. They’re now readying what will be a Nov 1 release date. So only a little longer Uncharted 3 fans, only a little longer.

But wait there’s more…If this is not good enough news for you, as a added bonus Naughty Dog has also announced that all retail copies of the game will include a voucher code  for early access to the upcoming Starhawk Public Beta, which will be coming in early 2012.  Here’s a peek at what the voucher looks like:

Online Service for the Call of Duty Community Opens Worldwide Xbox 360 Beta on Call of Duty: Black Ops

Call of Duty Elite beta is live. The pre-release of this innovative new digital community platform, built expressly for the 30-million strong Call of Duty fanbase, begins its staged launch today on Xbox 360® and Xbox LIVE utilizing Call of Duty: Black Ops.  The beta will be activated in phases for feature testing, with limited invitations rolling out in the coming weeks.

Uncharted 3 beta extended to tomorrow

Time to rush back to your PS3! You have one more day to play the Uncharted 3 beta. Originally scheduled to end today, Naughty Dog has announced a short extension to their multiplayer beta. Service for the beta will now end tomorrow, Friday, July 15th at 9:00 AM PDT. (You can find out what time that is in your local area here. That means you have 24 more hours to try and unlock bonus content for the final retail version of the game, which comes out November 1st.

Earlier today, July 12, we started getting reports that some users were logging back into theUncharted 3 Multiplayer Beta and finding that their progress in the game has been reset. Many players have had to re-accept the online agreement when logging in to the Beta and their profile shows they are at level 1, with no XP accumulated or Cash remaining in their profile.

“Ghosts, form up on me.” Ubisoft has just dropped mission details on the upcoming beta for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.

“We know you have been asking about the beta,” the official Twitter account for the franchise noted earlier today, “We’re excited to announce that the MP beta will be launching in January 2012.”
