Gears of War 3: First week sales

From Major Nelson’s Blog he reported that Epic  Games announced that Gears of  War 3 sold over 3 million copies since it’s release.

So what does this mean? It means that you should have no problem finding people online to play with lol, just joshing. Seriously though it means only that Gears of War 3 is officially the biggest selling game of 2011 and that it pushed Epic Games lifetime sales to over the 1 billion mark . Now of course they still have Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 coming  up to contend with, but that’s still pretty darn good.
