Ninja Gaiden 3 Set for March 2012

“Team Ninja has inched closer to a solidified release date for the next installment in the famed, and brutally hard, Ninja Gaiden series. Ninja Gaiden 3 will arrive on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in March 2012, with a Wii U version planned to hit sometime after. According to reports, Team Ninja’s Yosuke Hayashi revealed the news to journalists at a San Francisco event this afternoon.

Shacknews is reporting that Ninja Gaiden 3 will receive PlayStation Move support.
Will such a “hardcore game” use the Move in a hardcore way? According to Team Ninja’s Yosuke Hayashi you’ll be able to make the motion of cutting the enemy down, but says this is aimed toward the “casual gamer” and making the game compatible with the Move will make it more accessible to them.
Fans of the series who are worrying about their attempt to reach a wider audience, Hayashi says by way of PlayStation Blog that Ninja Gaiden 3 will continue to keep it’s integrity and tradition of the games difficulty that it’s known for.
