E3 2016: Xbox One S – It Does 4K – Cheaper Than You Think – Coming Sooner Than You Think
Microsoft at this year’s E3 took the stage to announce their newest console named Xbox One S.
Starting the show off with a bang showing a 4K capable; slimmed down; cheaper than expected price and a sooner than expected release window. The price? Just $299 The release window? Early August
Features
- 40% smaller than the current Xbox One
- 4K Ultra HD, supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) which deals with increased color spectrum producing even more dynamic colors
- 2 Terabyte Hard drive, will eventually ship other smaller hard drive size options (500 GB, 1 TB)
- Physical (Clickable) Power Button on the front panel
- 2 HDMI ports, (HDMI in, HDMI out) 2 USB ports in the back
- USB port on the front
- IR Blaster (Infrared) on front
- HDMI cable included
- Comes with Microsoft’s latest Xbox Wireless controller with texture grips, increased range and Bluetooth
- Vertical Stand

Confusing however is that they also announced another console slated for next year code named ‘Scorpio’. Could consoles be going the way of cell phones?
